Hanami Picnic at Cherry Tree Park in Helsinki

You might be familiar with the Vappu picnic in Kaivopuisto but there's also the Hanami picnic in Roihuvuori in mid-May. The Hanami festival in Roihuvuori Cherry Park is an annual event to celebrate the blooming of the cherry blossoms. There are food trucks, art performances, speeches, contests, market stalls, and Japanese culture. Let's have a picnic! We'll spread a blanket, have some snacks, explore the festival, and enjoy the breezy spring weather, meet the community and do some casual networking. No specific agenda, come and go as you like.
